Guard-Systems Inc. is hiring friendly reliable Lobby Attendants (Unarmed Security) for the SAG-AFTRA Building a landmark hub for entertainment professionals.

This isnt a typical security role its about presence professionalism and personality. Youll be the first face people see when they walk into one of Hollywoods most iconic industry buildings ensuring everyone feels welcome safe and supported.

Responsibilities

Customer Service & Front Desk Duties

• Provide exceptional customer service to members guests and visitors you set the tone for their experience.
• Answer questions assist with directions and help visitors navigate the building with confidence and ease.
• Maintain a calm professional demeanor when handling concerns or conflicts.
• Communicate clearly with tenants staff and management both in person and over phone/email.
• Assist with package handling vendor check-ins and event coordination support as needed.
• Serve as the buildings ambassador greeting everyone with a smile eye contact and genuine attentiveness.

Security & Safety Duties

• Manage access control: verify credentials issue visitor badges and log all guests.
• Monitor lobby and building activity through direct observation and CCTV.
• Conduct periodic patrols of key areas stairwells and perimeters to ensure all access points are secure.
• Respond promptly to alarms medical incidents or emergencies with professionalism and urgency.
• Support Fire/Life Safety protocols including understanding how to operate and silence a fire panel under supervision.
• Write and submit accurate daily activity and incident reports.
• Communicate with the Post Commander and management regarding issues or irregularities.

Qualifications

• Valid California Guard Card (required).
• 2 years of customer service experience (hospitality concierge or front desk preferred).
• Previous security or high-rise experience a plus.
• Comfortable learning fire panel basics building alarm systems and emergency response procedures.
• Strong communication observation and interpersonal skills.
• Tech-savvy with basic computer and email proficiency.
• Professional appearance and demeanor poised confident and approachable.
• Ability to stand for long periods and perform light patrol duties.

Shift Available: Monday Tuesday 10 PM - 6 AM Friday - Sunday 2 PM- 10 PM FULL 40 HOURS plus OT available

Starting Pay: $19.00
