The Role

This position focuses on the maintenance and enhancement of all site-based Operational Technology and communications infrastructure. This is a hands-on site-based role where you will ensure the reliability of all systems supporting production.

Roster: 7 Days On / 7 Days Off (Thursday to Thursday Day Shift). Minimal on-call.
Location: Pilbara (FIFO from Perth).

Core Responsibilities

OT System Maintenance: Maintain and troubleshoot OT systems across the mine site ensuring maximum uptime and reliability for all production-critical technology.
Comms and Networking: Diagnose and resolve faults across digital radio (Tait DMR) wireless mesh (Cambium Cisco) and Microwave backhaul systems.
Fleet Systems Support: Provide direct technical support for in-vehicle fleet systems including Titan and Wenco Mine GPS hardware and associated mobile deployments (trailers/skids).
Infrastructure & Deployment: Support and maintain solar-powered infrastructure perform Cisco switching diagnostics and contribute to broader system upgrades and the Mine Systems roadmap.
Improvement & Ownership: Demonstrate a high level of ownership proactively identify system vulnerabilities and drive continuous improvement in system reliability.

Skills & Experience

Essential Technical Expertise

Telecommunications or Electronics Certification.
ACMA Open Cabling Registration.
Proven experience supporting OT and communications infrastructure in mining or heavy industrial environments.
Familiarity with Windows-based IT systems and core networking principles.
Ability to interpret schematics and follow detailed technical documentation.
Valid Manual C Class Australian Drivers Licence.
Desirable: HRWL EWP (Elevated Work Platform) or Dogging tickets.
