JOB DETAILS
- Provide input into the structure leadership and strategic planning for the adult group ministry in recruitment training & development and execution specific to the campus.
- Equip recruit train and lead group leaders coaches and senior coaches
- Create and strategically plan areas of new group growth
- Strategize and implement with the Global Groups Team
- Create plans to multiply groups and train additional leaders
- Strategically manage set goals for and lead the Groups Ministry to potentially include volunteer staff as well as non-staff volunteers. Assist in identifying future staff needs and changes in staffing within the division. Personnel could include:
- Coaching Directors
- Group Coaches/Senior Coaches
- Group Leaders and Apprentices
- Communicate the overall vision goals and strategy of the Groups Ministry at the campus
- Set yearly goals for his/her division for growth in the areas of number of groups group attendance and coaching structure
- Work with Coaches to promote an atmosphere of spiritual growth/accountability with group leaders
- Lead your campus groups to participate in yearly alignments
- Assist the Global Groups Pastor in the implementation of the vision values and goals for the ministry of FPC and the Groups Ministry
- Cultivate relationships with local mission partners and schools. Lead groups and volunteers in serving with local shareholders
- Lead by example by participating in and/or leading small groups
- Attend and participate in global and campus specific meetings as required
- Perform all other duties assigned by the Global Groups Pastor and Campus Pastor
- Perform Pastor on call duties throughout the year as scheduled including but not limited to:
- Officiating weddings
- Facilitating funerals
- Counseling people in crisis
- Praying for people who call the church
- Assist Campus Pastor with all duties necessary in running the campus including baptisms oversight of missions spot facilitation of Next Steps classes coordination/oversight of counselors facilities issues and closing service as needed
BENEFITS AND COMPENSATION
This position is a full-time exempt role with an expected schedule of40 hoursper week. Compensation isdeterminedbased on education and experience.
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelors degree or certificate of ministry
- 3 years of ministry experience in a church environment
- Experience leading a group of volunteers
- Experience leading growing and multiplying groups
- Team player
- Effective communication skills
- Detail-oriented and organized
- Flexible and adaptable
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
