Lead Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) Job Summary:
Under general supervision of the Office Supervisor in an outpatient clinical setting providers initial patient triage registration patient intake services assists with direct patient care and perform specialized medical procedures of a routine nature as dictated by established clinical protocol.
Lead Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) Job Responsibilities: - Assist with direct patient care procedures and related tasks; checks in patients assists in obtaining patient histories takes vital signs prepares charts and assists with medical examinations.
- Performs routine specialized procedures which could include sterile dressing changes under established protocols.
- Maintain stocks of medicines and medical supplies as necessary.
- Assists with orientation of other clerical personnel to the department.
Lead Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) Education and Experience Requirements: - Current license to perform as a licensed practical nurse in the State of Connecticut required.
- High School Diploma Required - College Course Preferred
- Two years as Licensed Practical Nurse in hospital or office setting required
- One to Three years experience in clinical positions preferred.
