We have exciting opportunity for experienced or newbie Patrol Person to join the dedicated and supportive Dunedin based crew where you will get to grow your skill set with a variety of work whilst also having a good time with the team.
You will enjoy spending your work days outdoors work regular hours with the occasional call out and you dont mind putting in the mahi. This role is the perfect entry point into the civil construction industry where we will provide you will all the training you need to grow a successful career with us.
As our Patrol Person you will undertake small road maintenance and urgent repair work across the Dunedin district to ensure the safety of the public. Day to day this will consist of:

You will be responsible for ensuring all plant machinery is presented serviced maintained and operated in a professional safe and efficient manner that complies with all relevant legislation regulation and policy and achieves agreed productivity and quality targets.

Along with a positive attitude and your commitment to safe worksite practises you will have a proven ability to ensure proper care maintenance and operation of appropriate plant and equipment. You will also have:
Class 2 New Zealand drivers licence
Wheels Tracks & Rollers (WTR)
Ability to work hands-on and unsupervised as well as within a team
show good initiative and confidence in decision making and problem solving
Available to respond to afterhours call outs when rostered
Confident communicating with the public and management
Show commitment to a Zero Harm environment
