Contract Senior Test Analyst
Inside IR35 - 375pd
Hybrid working - 2-3 days in London or Milton Keynes
Are you a highly skilled and experienced Senior Test Analyst with a proven track record of leadership and expertise in defect management
We have an exciting position for a Senior Test Analyst to work with one of Ten10s prestigious clients. This is a hybrid role requiring you to be in the office or on-site 2-3 days a week.
As a Senior Test Analyst youll be instrumental in shaping the quality assurance process. Youll not only be hands-on with testing but will also take on a leadership role providing guidance to other team members and leading the crucial defect triage process. Your dedication to quality and meticulous approach will be key to success.
Key Responsibilities:
Assist in the preparation of test plans scripts and acceptance criteria for user stories or requirements.
Maintain high quality and accuracy throughout the software development lifecycle.
Conduct analysis of multiple systems to understand solution requirements.
Prepare and execute test scripts to validate business conditions and anticipated results.
Ensure all work meets scheduling and quality requirements.
Provide clear and timely feedback to development teams and test leads.
Support scoping and provide effort estimates for user stories.
Work collaboratively with developers to ensure features are testable and defects are resolved efficiently.
Lead the defect triage process prioritizing and managing defects to resolution.
Mentor and guide more junior testers ensuring best practices are followed.
Act as a key point of contact for test-related activities providing leadership and expertise to the wider team.
Required Skills and Experience:
Proven track record of testing complex user and system interfaces.
Strong experience with structured test methods and processes.
Comprehensive knowledge of manual testing with some exposure to automated testing.
Experience in testing Windows Software Applications and Database Applications.
Experience with cloud technologies specifically GCP (NiFi BigQuery Dag).
Experience with SIT (System Integration Testing) across multiple networks.
Strong data testing skills.
Experience with collaboration tools such as ADO and Confluence.
Experience working in Agile (Scrum & Kanban) and Waterfall methodologies.
Experience working in a logistics or similar environment.
Demonstrable experience in a senior or lead testing role.
Expertise in defect management and leading defect triage sessions.
Desirable Experience:
Mapping software testing
Qlik reporting testing
