St Leonards College is seeking an experienced and dedicated English Teacher to join our College community on a full time ongoing basis from the start of the 2026 school year.
Reporting to the Head of Learning English the role will be responsible for teaching English subjects across Years 5 to 12 in a collaborative and progressive environment.
To be successful in this opportunity you will require:
- Tertiary qualifications in Education.
- Current VIT Registration.
- A current knowledge of the Australian Curriculum (English).
- Experience in teaching VCE and/or International Baccalaureate Diploma Programme (IBDP) English subjects.
- Previous experience teaching within an Independent School setting (preferred).
- Knowledge of contemporary pedagogy and innovative use of ICT in the classroom to enrich learning.
- Well-developed classroom management strategies which enhance student engagement and outcomes.
- Be an active contributor to a collegial work environment.
- Willingness to uphold the ethos and values of the College.
