About the Team:

The Powder Bed Fusion manufacturing team develops creates and operates the most advanced additive manufacturing technologies in the best-in-class teammakes sure that the infrastructure materials tools and equipment are in place for us to rapidly iterate and print.The Powder-Based manufacturing teamwascrucial to manufacturing Aeon-1 for first launch and now are developing and demonstrating groundbreaking technologies design and approaches for Aeon-R!

About the Role:

This is a 2nd shift position with a standard schedule of 3:00 PM 1:30 AM PT Monday through Friday. The role includes a 10% shift differential added to the base pay. Please note that this position is structured around a baseline expectation of a 50-hour workweek which may include occasional overtime as needed to meet operational goals.

• Operate Depowdering Machinery Wire EDMs and Vacuum Heat-Treating Furnaces
• Deburr Remove Supports and Surface Prep PBF Printed Hardware
• Inspect parts for dimensional accuracy defects surface quality and perform necessary rework
• Maintain accurate and detailed documentation of work performed
• Collaborate with Engineering and Team to develop and implement new post processing operations
• Adhere to all safety protocols and guidelines ensuring a safe work environment

About You:

• High School Diploma or GED
• 2 Years Experience in PBF Post-Processing or other Additive Manufacturing technologies
• Proficient in operating post-processing equipment such as Depowdering Machinery Wire EDMs Vacuum Heat-Treating Furnaces and a solid understanding in various post-processing techniques
• Strong attention to detail and ability to consistently produce high-quality parts. Experienced in inspecting PBF Parts for defections and dimensional accuracy
• Ability to interpret technical documents and maintain accurate records
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to troubleshoot issues related to post-processing

Nice to haves but not required:

• 3 years working as a Powder Bed Fusion Technician
• 2 Year Associate Science in Advanced Manufacturing Technology (or equivalent)
• Certification in Wire EDM and/or Vacuum Heat-Treating applications
• Experience in Esprit Cam Software or Programming Wire EDMs
