Job Summary
Are you passionate about quality assurance and eager to tackle technical challenges in a collaborative agile environment As a Junior Telecom Application Test Engineer at Oracle youll play a key role in ensuring our solutions meet the highest standards.
You will design and execute test plans work closely with cross-functional teams and help troubleshoot and resolve issues contributing to the world-class reliability of our telecom products for major customers in Saudi Arabia and ME region.

What youll do
- Execute Functional Regression Integration End-to-End testing
- Understand & document the Test Scenarios based on the discussions with the Functional/Development/Business Teams
- Map the Requirements to Test Cases & produce test plans
- Responsible for test case execution & documenting the results collecting the logs/traces etc. for validation & troubleshooting/ticketing
- Assist the Business users in performing User Acceptance Testing (UAT)
- Create/support daily metrics/status reporting
- Escalate blocking issues to Test Lead for resolution
- Maintain (ongoing) suite of automated test cases
- Track defects to various defect tracking tools like Jira Red mine etc. and update tickets
Retest defects to verify that identified issues have been resolved
What youll bring
- Strong communication skills and collaborative mindset
- Technical knowledge or hands-on experience with test tools and frameworks
- Understanding of software testing standards methods and procedures
- Practical troubleshooting and analytical skills
- Excellent time management and ability to meet deadlines
- Basic understanding of business processes and application flows
- Experience with UNIX/Linux SQL and scripting languages (such as Python or Shell)
- Familiarity with agile or Scrum methodologies
- Knowledge of telecom networks or concepts (e.g. CNE) is a plus

Responsibilities
As a member of a project team follows standard practices and procedures to analyze situations/data and provide quality work products to deliver functional and technical solutions on applications and technology installations. Work involves some problem solving with assistance and guidance in understanding and applying relevant Oracle methodologies and practices. Implements Oracle products and technology in various industries to meet customer specifications.
