Junior Talent Acquisition Specialist Recruiter (mfd) in Quantum Computing Start-Up

As a Junior Talent Acquisition Specialist / Recruiter (m/f/d) at Kipu Quantum you will play a key role in driving the growth of our company. You will identify and engage the brightest minds bringing them on board to become part of our exceptional team. • ActiveSourcing & Outreach:Leverage multiple channels to proactively identify and engage suitable candidates supporting both operational and technical teams in their hiring efforts.
• Candidate Experience: Manage the end-to-end recruitment process - from crafting job postings to extending offers - ensuring a professional and positive candidate experience.
• Interview Coordination:Schedule and conduct interviews while maintaining accurate records in our HR software (Personio).
• Talent Pipeline Development:Build and nurture relationships with potential candidates to meet long-term hiring needs.
• Performance Monitoring: Track and analyze key recruiting metrics (e.g. time-to-hire quality-of-hire applicant volume conversion rates) to continuously optimize the hiring process.
• Employer Branding:Collaborate with the marketing team to strengthen our employer brand create compelling content and campaigns and position Kipu Quantum as a top deep-tech employer.
• Employee Lifecycle Support:Assist the People & Culture team in initiatives across the employee lifecycle expanding your expertise in People Operations Employee Development and Employee Retention.

• Completed Bachelors degree or apprenticeship in Business Psychology Natural Sciences or related fields or equivalent qualifications.
• Initial hands-on experience in recruiting ideally in a deep-tech company or start-up.
• Interest in deep tech software development or natural sciences as you will be recruiting for highly specialized technical roles.
• Ideally experience with HR software such as Personio Workday or HiBob.
• Strong communication skills and a proactive approach to engaging candidates.
• Highly organized detail-oriented and able to manage a high volume of applicants efficiently.
• Hands-on attitude willing to take on responsibilities beyond the core role within People & Culture.
• Excellent written and spoken German and English to collaborate effectively with our international team and talent pool.

Kipu Quantum is a German startup focused on quantum computing with offices in Karlsruhe and Berlin. We specialize in developing quantum algorithms tailored for specific applications and hardware. In December 2023 Kipu Quantum secured 10.5 million in seed funding led by HV Capital and DTCF (DeepTech & Climate Fonds) with participation from Entrada Ventures Quantonation and First Momentum Ventures. This funding will support the development of our hardware-specific quantum algorithms and accelerate the commercialization of our quantum solutions.
