Pavements and Grounds Crew
Location: Cairns Team: Infrastructure Team

ROLE HIGHLIGHTS:
The main goal of this role is to ensure the upkeep and safety of the airport premises by conducting construction and maintenance tasks. This involves using various machinery and equipment to maintain cleanliness and safety standards for areas such as pavements roads gardens and drainage systems. Your responsibilities will cover a wide range of maintenance and groundskeeping duties including operating different types of machinery to support the overall safety and operational integrity of the airport property.

ABOUT YOU:
Relevant experience in construction or grounds maintenance role.
Manual handling experience.
Have relevant industry cards e.g. Building and Construction Induction (White Card)
Current Drivers Licence/MR licence
A positive attitude self-motivated and the ability to work effectively as part of a team
Experience knowledge and understanding of: Airport Airline Civil Aviation Safety and Aviation Security Regulations an advantage.
Someone who enjoys an outdoor working environment
Effective communication skills and good computer skills
ELIGIBIILITY:
Unrestricted rights to work in Australia.
Ability to obtain and maintain an Aviation Security Identification Card.
