The Role:

Responsibilities:

Operate the photo finish computer to generate the final order chart of each race as well as generate the applicable finish photos for use on the television graphics.

Follow the running of each race with respect to the running order of the horses and enter this order of horses as it changes during the race on a keyboard to display the correct numbers on the infield information board as well as the television graphics.
Enter the correct number of minutes until the start of each race on a keyboard to display this information on the trackside indicators in an effort to assist the drivers.
Time each race with a manual stopwatch.
Provides exceptional customer service
Works safely following all established safety rules and regulations
Communicates effectively with co-workers supervisors and guests
Follows all relevant policies and procedures

ADDITIONAL FUNCTIONS:

Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

Must possess high school diploma or GED or equivalent work experience

Must possess good communication skills
Must be able to report to work on time as scheduled
Must be able to work weekends holidays and nights as needed
Must be able to successfully pass a background check
Must present an overall professional appearance and report to work in appropriate attire
Licensed by the Delaware Harness Racing Commission (DHRC)
Must be able to speak read and write English
