As an Infrastructure Engineer at Mimecast you will design implement and optimize secure high-performance IT infrastructure solutions. This hands-on technical role offers opportunities for leadership and mentorship while driving modernization efforts for virtualized and physical environments.

What Youll Do:

Infrastructure Design & Deployment:Architect deploy and maintain virtualized and hyper-converged infrastructure for global operations.
Modernization Initiatives:Lead server upgrades and network enhancements to improve performance and security.
Security Management:Implement proactive patching upgrades and system hardening to ensure security.
Operational Oversight:Manage server maintenance network switching (e.g. Juniper) VLANs DNS disaster recovery and Active Directory.
Virtualization Strategy:Develop on-prem virtualization strategies with a focus on resiliency and disaster recovery.
Compliance:Audit systems for SOC SOX and PCI DSS compliance ensuring secure access and data redundancy.
Vulnerability Management:Monitor and remediate vulnerabilities across Windows and Linux environments.
Mentorship:Train and mentor colleagues to foster technical excellence.
Project Collaboration:Partner with project managers and leadership to validate compliance documentation.
Documentation:Maintain technical documentation SOPs and IT security policies.

What Youll Bring:

Education:Bachelors or Masters degree in Computer Science IT Cybersecurity or related field.
Experience:4 years in infrastructure engineering focusing on virtualization network security and compliance.
Technical Expertise:Proven experience with virtualized/hyper-converged environments (e.g. VMware Hyper-V) Windows/Linux servers Active Directory DNS and backup/DR solutions.
Networking Knowledge:Experience with network hardware (e.g. Juniper switches) VLANs and enterprise networking best practices.
Compliance Skills:Hands-on experience with SOC SOX and PCI DSS frameworks.
Leadership:Demonstrated ability to lead technical projects and mentor team members.
Certifications:MS in Cybersecurity CISSP CISM or similar certifications are a plus.
Communication:Strong ability to translate complex technical concepts for varied audiences.

The base salary range for this position is $100000 - $150000 plus benefits. This range represents the minimum and maximum new hire compensation for this role. The position may also be eligible for incentive plans and additional benefits in accordance with company policy and local regulations. Our salary ranges are determined by role level and location with individual compensation also dependent on factors such as qualifications experience and skills. Final offers will reflect these considerations and may vary accordingly.
