Job Skills/Requirements

As you might expect maintenance repairs and services will be at the heart of what your job will entail. For the most part youll

• Provide prompt and courteous service to all internal and external customer.
• Ensure all facility systems and other equipment are performing at optimal levels by performing routine preventive maintenance.
• Perform general repairs that do not require a specialized technician. Examples may include: repairing drywall painting and repairing doors and other building fixtures.
• Knowledge of minor electrical and plumbing repairs. Examples may include: fixing leaking faucets replacing light switch or outlet unclogging drains/toilets.
• Occasionally build furniture. Examples: carts bookshelves desk.
• Move and arrange desks furniture and partitions when needed.
• Perform other related duties and activities as required.

Required Skills/Abilities

• Ability to follow instructions from supervisors or senior maintenance team members.
• Knowledge of general carpentry and repair.
• Ability to use hand tools and power tools.
• Excellent organizational and time management skills.

Job Requirements

• 1yearof related experience

Physical Requirements:

• Prolonged periods of standing and walking.
• Must be physically able to climb ladders bend or crawl into awkward spaces.
• Ability to stand walk reach climb bend and kneel.
• Ability to lift up to 30 pounds frequently and 50 pounds occasionally.
• Ability to use hands and fingers to grasp twist and pull.
• Withstand external weather conditions such as working outside in the rain cold heat or other adverse weather as needed.
• Valid Drivers License
