Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
Hours: Saturday - Monday 5am-5pm (OT on Wednesdays as needed)
Responsibilities
- Investigate troubleshoot and execute Total Productive Maintenance (TPM) tasks to ensure equipment reliability and performance.
- Analyze current maintenance operations to identify and drive opportunities for schedule and organizational optimization.
- Propose and contribute to the planning and execution of equipment upgrades and automation enhancements aimed at improving overall production efficiency.
- Continuously evaluate and enhance existing Preventive Maintenance (PM) processes to improve their effectiveness and efficiency.
- Lead and support development activities for team members acting as a mentor to foster skill growth and knowledge transfer.
- Provide technical assistance and guidance to maintenance technicians and support staff as required.
- Actively participate and collaborate in cross-functional teams to achieve shared operational goals and drive continuous improvement initiatives.
Other Responsibilities:
Position may require some travel on very short notice. Position may also require supporting off-shift production at the Customer Locations and possibly working extended hours.
Qualifications :
Experience:
-35 years of hands-on experience in maintenance or technical support (preferred).
-Experience with mechanical assembly equipment (MAE) is a plus.
-Basic experience in using maintenance planning tools or systems (e.g. SAP PM OPRA) preferred.
-Basic experience in using Controls tools or systems (e.g. Step 7 TIA Portal Simotion) preferred.
Essential Skills:
-Good problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
-Able to read and follow technical instructions and maintenance plans.
-Basic computer skills for entering data and creating orders.
-Clear and respectful communication with team members and other departments.
-Reliable organized and able to work independently within given instructions.
-Willing to learn and follow safety and maintenance procedures.
