Key Responsibilities:
Perform routine cleaning tasks including sweeping mopping dusting vacuuming and disinfecting various areas within assigned area.
Clean and sanitize restrooms replenish supplies and ensure hygienic conditions at all times.
Collect and dispose of trash and recyclables in designated areas.
Respond promptly to spills and other cleaning emergencies to ensure safety.
Follow procedures for the use of chemical cleaners and power equipment to prevent damage to floors and other objects.
Maintain and operate cleaning equipment safely and efficiently.
Monitor and report any maintenance or safety issues to supervisors.
Assist in special cleaning projects as needed.
Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications & Requirements:
High school diploma or GED preferred.
6 or more months experience in commercial facilities and building janitorial work desired.
Ability to work flexible shifts including nights weekends and holidays.
Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions required.
Completion of significant safety training is required.
