Job Title:- Database Engineer

About the Role

We are looking for a skilled Database Engineer with 2 to 5 years of hands-on experience in managing developing and optimizing databases within a .NET environment. The ideal candidate should have strong SQL skills experience in C# and exposure to modern cloud platforms such as Microsoft Azure. Knowledge of reporting analytics and data visualization tools will be an added advantage.

Key Responsibilities

Design develop and maintain relational databases queries stored procedures and views.

Work with C# applications to integrate with backend databases.

Develop and optimize SQL queries to ensure performance and scalability.

Build maintain and enhance data analytics and reporting solutions using Power BI and other tools.

Work with Azure fundamentals for database hosting cloud storage and data processing.

Collaborate with developers analysts and business stakeholders to understand requirements and translate them into technical solutions.

Implement database security backups and disaster recovery procedures.

Troubleshoot and resolve database performance integrity and connectivity issues.

Contribute to continuous improvement of data workflows pipelines and reporting systems.

Required Skills & Qualifications

2 to 5 years of professional experience as a Database Engineer SQL Developer or similar role.

Strong proficiency in SQL Server / T-SQL.

Hands-on experience with C# Framework/Core.

Experience in Power BI (report building data modeling dashboards).

Knowledge of OpenSearch / Elasticsearch is a plus.

Familiarity with Azure fundamentals (databases cloud services security).

Understanding of data modeling ETL processes and performance tuning.

Ability to design implement and maintain analytics reports and dashboards.

Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.

Excellent communication and collaboration skills.

Preferred Qualifications

Exposure to big data technologies or search engines like OpenSearch/Elasticsearch.

Experience with DevOps practices (CI/CD pipelines for databases).

Certification in Azure Fundamentals (AZ-900) or higher.

Familiarity with reporting automation and advanced data visualization.
