We are immediately hiring a CNC Machinist for a direct-hire position specializing in operating and setting up Haas Milling machines. The ideal candidate is a dedicated detail-oriented individual who can ensure the production of high-quality parts that meet precise specifications.

Responsibilities include:

We are seeking a skilled and precise CNC Machinist / Machine Operator primarily focused on Haas Milling machines. This role requires strong technical ability to set up operate and perform quality checks to ensure optimal machine performance and product accuracy.
Operate and perform minor set-ups on Haas CNC Vertical Mills.
Read and interpret blueprints schematics and engineering drawings to determine production methods and specifications.
Monitor machine operations to detect malfunctions or material issues adjusting settings as needed to ensure product quality.
Perform in-process inspections using precision measuring tools (e.g. calipers micrometers gauges) to ensure parts meet tolerance requirements.
Maintain a clean and safe work environment adhering to all safety protocols.
Troubleshoot and resolve minor machine issues or tooling problems during a run.
Complete production documentation and logs accurately and in a timely manner.

Compensation and Schedule

Pay: $30 - $33/hr depending on experience (DOE).

Schedule: Full-time Monday through Friday with a shift from 6:00 AM - 2:30 PM or potentially 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM.

Skills and Qualifications:

Proven ability to operate and perform minor setups on CNC Milling machines (primarily Haas).
Strong knowledge of reading and interpreting blueprints and utilizing GD&T.
Proficiency in using precision measuring instruments (calipers micrometers height gauges).
Solid understanding of standard machine shop practices materials and tooling.
Strong attention to detail and a focus on producing quality work.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a production environment.
Commitment to maintaining a safe working environment.

Education and Experience

2-3 years of experience operating and setting up CNC milling machines is preferred.
We will entertain recent graduates from accredited machine training schools with relevant hands-on experience.
