Production Supervisor Steel Manufacturing Northwest Talent Solutions
Location: Pittsburgh PA (On-Site)

Employment Type: Full-Time 3rd shift
Northwest Talent Solutions LLC is recruiting on behalf of our client an innovative leader in the steel manufacturing industry. Were seeking a hands-on Production Supervisor with strong leadership skills and a passion for safety process excellence and people development to work 3rd shift (Thursdays-Sundays).

What Youll Do
-
Lead all production activities within the steel department to meet or exceed quality delivery and cost goals.

Create and maintain a Zero-Incident Safety Culture through daily diligence training and proactive prevention.

Coach mentor and develop employees to improve engagement performance and accountability.
-
Apply Lean Manufacturing and Continuous Improvement principles including Standard Work and 5S to drive operational excellence.

Partner cross-functionally to meet production schedules ensure customer satisfaction and minimize waste.

Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) identify process bottlenecks and implement corrective actions.

Collaborate with HR and management on recruiting training and performance reviews.
Qualifications
Required:
-
Bachelors degree in Engineering Manufacturing or related discipline.
-
At least 1 year of hands-on experience in a manufacturing or production setting.

Excellent communication leadership and organizational skills.
-
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel Word and PowerPoint.
-
Must live within 50 miles of Washington PA (no relocation provided).
Preferred:
-
35 years of supervisory experience in steel fabrication or heavy manufacturing.

Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing 5S OSHA EEO and safety compliance.

Experience using SAP or similar ERP systems.
