Pūmotomoto is a kaupapa Māori mental health and wellbeing supporting whānau in Ōtautahi with the first 2000 days from conception to age 5.
Launched in 2019 Te Oriori is provided through Purapura Whetu Trust a kaupapa Māori non- government organisation that provides a range of free health and social support services for all ages across Waitaha.
Our tamariki are taonga born to thrive and have opportunities to develop gifts handed down from our tīpuna. Through our service we model compassion connectedness and nurturing with kai and unconditional aroha to whānau wrapping them in korowai as they heal and become stronger.
Pūmotomoto is the flute that is played over the fontanelle of an infant and chanted through to impart tribal wisdom knowledge.
Role Overview:
You will be supporting the Pūmotomoto service.
The role as registered nurse will be working with paediatric focus with pēpi and tamariki whānau to make positive change in their lives.
Your role will lead our Immunising Tamariki service including:
NURSE: 1 FTE
