Job Summary

Rome Health is currently seeking a Lead Operator. The Lead Operator will be responsible for supervising the day to day operations in our call center as well as staff training and ensuring the call center is meeting our patient needs and goals which are outlined in our standard operating procedure. Duties will include:


  • Supervising and training telephone operators on procedures and equipment including computers and call center operations.
  • Ensuring prompt accurate and courteous service is given to patients and others utilizing the phone service.
  • Tracking of call volume to identify peak times and trends.
  • Establishing and maintaining a schedule to ensure adequate coverage for all shifts and high volume periods.
  • Referring any urgent or emergent patient issues to appropriate clinical staff.
  • Will represent Rome Health with a positive and professional attitude while providing strong leadership to staff members to promote a strong culture of teamwork.

Required Education/Experience:

  • A high school diploma or G.E.D.
  • Knowledge of call center operations.
  • Medical office experience preferred
