What You Will Do:

• You will support multiple programs and will work with other experienced members in R&D on system development and deployments for the protection of our country

• You will generate briefings and present material to team members customers and AST management as necessary.

• Travel up to 25%

Qualifications You Must Have:

• Typically requires a degree in Science Technology Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) and a minimum of 8 years of prior relevant experience

• Typically requires a minimum of 8 years of practical experience in systems architecture and systems engineering

• Experience working with customers end users hardware design teams and software design teams

• Experience with reverse engineering of embedded systems

• Experience with signal processing in developing proof-of-concept (PoC) use case scenarios and prototypes

• Experience developing system level designs high level control and data interfaces

• Strong written and verbal communication skills and the ability to work independently yet collaboratively in a team environment.

• Active and transferable Top-Secret SCI (TS/SCI) U.S. government issued security clearance is required prior to start date with the ability to obtain a polygraph after start.

• U.S. citizenship is required as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance

Qualifications We Prefer:

• Master of Science (MS) Degree in Electrical Engineering Computer Engineering Software Engineering Computer Science Mathematics or Physics.

• Experience with RF optical and/or electrical telecommunications standards and processing techniques

• Experience with Design Development Integration and Test of Open Systems Architectures

• Experience in developing proof-of-concept (PoC) use case scenarios in support of creation of novel waveforms

• Experience formalizing developing and documenting requirements plans and procedures based on customer discussions briefings interactions and statements of work

• Understanding of telecommunications systems concepts and signal processing fundamentals

• Existing Top-Secret SCI with Polygraph (Active within the last 24 months)

The salary range for this role is 112000 USD - 224000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer including but not limited to the role function and associated responsibilities a candidates work experience location education/training and key skills.
