Be our next Lighting Designer Intern!
Your work environment at EXP
In this role you will be a part of the Lighting Design team based in Chicago Illinois office.
What a day at EXP has in store for you
- Assist as needed in project production including but not limited to drafting creating fixture cut sheets AGI calculations and Photoshop renderings
- Maintain and catalogue the fixture library and sample storage area
- Assist the design team in any other capacity as need arrives
- Use CAD to develop schedule and detail sheets with direction from Designer
What your experience looks like
- Interest in Lighting Design
- Can communicate ideas and concepts well
- Comfortable and fluent in basic computer skills including Word and Excel
- Is a self-starter and results oriented
- Organized on a daily
- Personable in working with colleagues
- A level of understanding and experience in CAD/3-D skills
The pay rate for this role is $20 - $25 per hour. Actual compensation packages are based on several factors that are unique to each candidate including but not limited to skill set depth of experience certifications and specific work location. This may be different in other locations due to differences in the cost of addition to competitive pay we offer a comprehensive benefits package for all full-time employees including health insurance vacation time and 401(k) retirement benefits.
