Role Overview
The Field Engineer Manager is responsible for overseeing and coordinating on-site engineering activities in oil and gas projects ensuring safe efficient and technically compliant execution. This role leads a team of field engineers provides technical support during project execution and acts as the key liaison between field operations and project management.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage the field engineering team across all project phases (commissioning start-up operations maintenance).
- Ensure field activities are carried out in accordance with project specifications industry standards and safety/environmental regulations.
- Coordinate with Project Managers to align field operations with project schedules and objectives.
- Provide hands-on technical support and troubleshoot engineering issues on-site.
- Oversee and ensure the proper completion of technical documentation field reports and punch lists.
- Liaise with clients contractors and vendors to resolve technical issues and ensure quality execution.
- Participate in and promote HSE meetings toolbox talks and safety initiatives.
- Ensure implementation of operating procedures quality assurance systems and field engineering best practices.
Requirements:
- Degree in Engineering (Mechanical Electrical Chemical or related discipline).
- Minimum of 710 years of experience in the Oil & Gas sector.
- Fluent in English (written and spoken).
