Job Summary
A high-achieving and inclusive 1118 school in Shropshire is looking for a talented Teacher of French to join its Modern Foreign Languages department from January 2026.
Languages are at the heart of this schools curriculum. The department has a track record of success at GCSE and A-Level and a culture that celebrates language learning through immersion and cultural experience. The MFL block includes a digital language lab interactive classrooms and modern breakout spaces used for conversation practice and film screenings.
The school runs annual trips to France and Spain as well as a popular Languages Week with visiting speakers international cuisine and student-led taster sessions for local primaries.
As part of a collaborative and experienced team youll be supported to deliver engaging lessons that build confidence and cultural awareness. Theres a real emphasis on speaking and listening and the department has introduced online exchange projects with schools abroad to help students practise authentic communication.
