Job Summary
A highly regarded 1118 secondary school in Reading rated Outstanding by Ofsted is seeking a Chemistry ECT to join their exceptional Science Department on a full-time permanent basis from January 2026.
About the Role
The appointed ECT will teach Chemistry across KS3KS5 delivering lessons that combine rigorous scientific content with creative hands-on experimentation. They will be supported by an experienced mentor and a strong departmental team ensuring a smooth transition into the profession.
The successful teacher will design and deliver engaging lessons assist in practical demonstrations and encourage students to connect chemistry with real-world applications such as environmental science healthcare and sustainability.

Experience and Qualifications
