A forward-thinking Good primary in Birmingham is seeking an innovative Year 3 Teacher to join its KS2 phase on a Full-Time contract with a January 2026 start. From the January 2026 start the Year 3 Teacher will be supported by an experienced leadership team and will have access to targeted CPD. The Year 3 Teacher role is classroom-centred but offers opportunities to contribute to curriculum development after the January 2026 start. The successful Year 3 Teacher will be expected to begin preparation and planning before the January 2026 start attend induction during the January 2026 start period and teach from the January 2026 start as a Full-Time member of staff.
About the role for the Year 3 Teacher: you will design well-sequenced lessons that develop conceptual understanding in mathematics fluency in reading and stamina in writing. The Year 3 Teacher will deploy formative assessment to personalise instruction run focused group work and provide meaningful feedback. As Year 3 Teacher you will lead projects that encourage enquiry resilience and independence. This Full-Time Year 3 Teacher role expects the Year 3 Teacher to collaborate in phase planning meetings that begin in the weeks before the January 2026 start to take part in moderation after the January 2026 start and to participate in parental meetings following the January 2026 start.
