About Us
Were a small team focused on strengthening how people manage farms food businesses and food systems. Our work combines learning collaboration and hands on tools for people moving from extractive to regenerative models in farming food production hospitality and their surrounding ecosystems. Our backgrounds are mixed from agriculture design education software to food. And so is our approach. We pay attention to whats actually happening on the ground. How a kitchen reuses food waste how a farmer adjusts irrigation how a cooperative handles change. We build programs and tools that help people navigate those shifts with care and purpose.
The Role
Youll design and support transformation efforts across the agrifood system. That includes:
- Small and mid sized farms
- Food processing operations
- Restaurants hotels and HORECA professionals
- Public and private food service institutions
Youll join a small team working on learning journeys site based collaborations and strategic support. We dont offer one size fits all answers and we dont work top down. Most of what we do is cocreated with the people directly involved.
This is a role for someone who understands how systems change happens. Not in theory/textbooks but in kitchens fields and rooms where real decisions get made.
Tasks
What Youll Do
- Design and guide processes that support a shift to more circular sustainable operations
- Work with farmers chefs managers and food teams to rethink how they source produce and manage
- Develop practical materials (maps frameworks tools) that people can use and adapt
- Bring grounded live insights into policy conversations and networks
- Stay close to the field and keep our work practical useful and honest
Requirements
Who You Might Be
You might be early in your career and driven by deep curiosity. Or you may bring years of experience and be looking to apply your skills in more grounded meaningful ways. Either way youre someone who pays attention works with care and thinks about the bigger picture.
We imagine you have experience in one or more of the following:
- Agriculture or regenerative farming
- Food processing or industrial kitchen operations
- Restaurant hospitality or HORECA management
- Food systems research policy or strategy
- System thinking and agility
And also:
- Youve supported teams through change. Especially toward more sustainable or community rooted practices
- Youre thoughtful clear in your communication and comfortable with complexity
- Youre independent but collaborative and value working in small diverse teams
- You care about food people and place and how they connect
