Pay Rate: $38 - $44/hr; (Negotiable based on experience)
Shifts Available:
- 12-hr Shift 7:00 AM 7:30 PM
- 8-hr Shift 3:00 PM 3:30 AM
Job Overview:
As a Registered Nurse (RN) in Behavioral Health Services (BHS) you will provide high-quality compassionate care to individuals experiencing behavioral health crises or managing ongoing mental health conditions. This PRN position offers flexibility with shifts and you will be expected to deliver care with professionalism and sensitivity to the unique needs of patients in a behavioral health setting.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide safe high-quality patient-centered care based on professional nursing standards.
- Assess plan implement and evaluate individualized patient care.
- Administer medications and treatments accurately and according to policy.
- Monitor and document patient conditions and responses to interventions.
- Collaborate with physicians therapists and the interdisciplinary care team.
- Support patients and families through education and emotional support.
- Respond to behavioral health crises using de-escalation and approved intervention techniques.
- Maintain compliance with hospital policies procedures and regulatory standards.
Required Qualifications:
- Current RN license in the state of New Hampshire.
- Minimum 1 year of nursing experience.
- CPR/BLS certification required.
- Strong communication assessment and clinical judgment skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
- Flexibility to work PRN shifts including weekends holidays and evenings as needed.
