Job Summary

Title: SAP Principal Engineer Hybrid (Columbus OH) Contract-to-Hire

Candidates can work remotely for 6-months until converting to FTE. Must relocate to Columbus OH and work 3 days per week onsite upon conversion.

About the Role: Join a dynamic enterprise team supporting a new SAP system used by the entire organization. Were seeking an SAP Principal Engineer with deep architectural expertise and the ability to review ABAP code coach developers and guide solution design across PM MM FI/CO and GRC. This is a technical leadership role requiring strong functional understanding to bridge business and engineering.

What Youll Do

Review ABAP code for performance quality and security; provide hands-on coaching and best practices to developers.

Own end-to-end SAP solution architecture spanning PM MM FI/CO and GRC; align designs to enterprise standards.

Collaborate with product owners functional leads and enterprise architects to deliver scalable secure solutions.

Define and enforce coding standards testing practices and CI/CD for SAP (e.g. CTS gCTS ATC checks).

Lead design reviews resolve complex integration issues and ensure audit/compliance requirements are met.

REQUIRED SKILLS

10 years of SAP experience with a focus on architecture and development oversight.
Experience with FIORI Apps
Experience with SAP Private Edition (AZURE cloud)
Fluency in ABAP code review and optimization; ability to mentor and uplift a dev team.
Hands-on experience with SAP PM MM FI/CO and GRC modules; strong functional awareness.
Knowledge of integration patterns and middleware (e.g. SAP PI/PO MuleSoft APIs)
Excellent communication and stakeholder management in a hybrid enterprise environment
