We are a national aerospace and defense staffing agency seeking highly qualified candidates for a position with a top-tier client.

Summary:

• Perform complex assembly inspection rework repair and modification of electronic electrical and mechanical assemblies and subassemblies.

• Present statistical data for team analysis and problem resolution.

• Conduct complex periodic maintenance machine setup and tooling tasks using inspection checklists.

• Assemble and deliver kits; perform receiving and inspection of incoming materials.

• Document inspection results per applicable procedures and update work status.

• Coordinate with management and other departments to prioritize workflow and resolve issues.

• Work under minimal supervision.

Requirements:

• Minimum 10 years of relevant experience.

• Proficient with IPC standards:

  • IPC-J-STD-001: Requirements for Soldered Electrical and Electronic Assemblies

  • IPC-A-610: Acceptability of Electronic Assemblies

  • IPC/WHMA-A-620: Requirements for Cable and Wire Harness Assemblies

• Ability to read and interpret drawings bills of materials build instructions and inspection/test plans.

• Perform kit checks part number verification builds self-inspections and final inspections for harnesses components subassemblies and assemblies.

• Familiar with installing inline components per documentation.

• Experience with LRU cabinet and rack assemblies.

• Knowledge of harness installation on air vehicles including terminations and inspections on aircraft if required.

• Must be a U.S. Citizen (as defined by ITAR).
