Job Summary
Press Brake Programmer
Lafayette CO
Pay Rate: $25.00/hr $31.00/hr (DOE)
Responsibilities
Program and operate CNC press brakes to produce high-quality sheet metal parts.
Interpret blueprints technical drawings and specifications to determine bend sequences and tooling setups.
Optimize bend programs for accuracy efficiency and material usage.
Perform setup calibration and first-piece inspections.
Maintain and troubleshoot press brake equipment to ensure optimal performance.
Collaborate with engineering and production teams to improve designs and manufacturing processes.
Qualifications
2 years of experience programming and operating CNC press brakes (Amada Trumpf or similar).
Strong understanding of sheet metal fabrication bend allowances and tooling.
Ability to read and interpret blueprints and mechanical drawings.
Familiarity with CAD/CAM or press brake programming software preferred.
