Time Commitment: 2-10 hours/per week

About the Program
Our housing communities offer affordable below-market-rate housing while fostering inclusive supportive environments for all residents. At the heart of this mission is our Resident Services Youth Program which focuses on creating intergenerational connections that enrich the entire community.
We engage youth parents and older adults in shared experiences classes events and everyday interactions that strengthen relationships and build a vibrant multi-generational support network.
Volunteer Role & Responsibilities
As a volunteer youll play a key role in bringing our intergenerational mission to life. Depending on your interests and strengths you may:
- Plan and host community events (e.g. seasonal celebrations game nights) that bring together residents of all ages
- Lead or assist with enrichment programs including cooking dance arts & crafts and more designed for youth and inclusive of older community members
- Tutor and mentor youth (ages 614) while encouraging connection with older residents
- Support communal space upkeep and help ensure program activities run smoothly in a welcoming environment
Who Were Looking For
Were seeking passionate community-minded individuals from all walks of life who are eager to make a difference. Ideal volunteers will have:
- A genuine interest in working with youth and fostering intergenerational relationships
- The ability to collaborate in diverse inclusive environments
- Reliable transportation (personal or public) to and from the community site
- Experience with children ages 614 is helpful but not required
- A flexible proactive and positive attitude
