Lansing, MI IT DTMB Agency Services MDE Business Process Reengineering

Location: Hybrid Lansing MI (Onsite 2 days a week: Tuesdays and Wednesdays preferred)
Duration: 1 Year (with possible extension)

We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Business Analyst / Project Coordinator to play a key role in bridging the gap between business stakeholders and technical teams. The successful candidate will have a strong understanding of the Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC) proven experience in gathering and documenting business requirements and the ability to coordinate project activities across multiple teams.

Responsibilities include:

• Serve as the liaison between business units project managers and development teams to ensure alignment of goals and deliverables.
• Gather analyze and document business requirements workflows and feedback to inform project improvements.
• Support multiple internal and external teams to meet business objectives training needs and implementation timelines.
• Create and manage User Stories work items and queries within Azure DevOps to support development and tracking.
• Facilitate meetings requirement walkthroughs and documentation reviews with stakeholders.
• Collaborate closely with QA development and business units to validate deliverables and ensure quality.
• Communicate effectively-both written and verbal-to maintain project transparency and success.

Required Skills:

• 5 years in a role as a Business Analyst Project Manager or Project Coordinator supporting software development projects.
• 5 years of experience gathering and documenting business feedback and incorporating changes into processes.
• 5 years of experience collaborating across multiple teams to support business processes and project needs.
• 3 years of experience working as a liaison between business clients and development teams with a strong understanding of SDLC.
• 1 year of hands-on experience with Azure DevOps including creating User Stories and queries.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Preferred Skills:

• 1 year of experience working with Federal State or Local Grant Management Systems or other government-funded programs.

Schedule:

• Hybrid model: Onsite 2 days a week (Tuesdays and Wednesdays preferred).
• No remote-only option.
• Candidates must be local or willing to relocate at their own expense and start onsite from day one.
