Job Purpose

Working in connection with NEXT and the Victorias Secret Retail Team the Concession Manager is responsible for driving and maximising sales and profitability across our Northern or Southern Concession business and building consistent brand execution across each addition theConcession Partner will lead on the opening of new concessions and refresh programmes of existing concessions.

  • Car & driver license required
  • Travel required to stores across UK & IRE
  • Overnight stays may be required

Primary Responsibilities

  • Partner with the Victorias Secret Concessions & 3rd Party Area Manager to deliver the concession strategyidentifying opportunities to grow the business and improve performance
  • Visit concessions daily checking the sales floor to ensure brand guidelines are followed and stock levels and marketing are aligned
  • Conduct stockroom checks to ensure the correct lines and appropriatedepth of stock are available on the sales floors.
  • Partner with the relevant NEXT Senior Store Management teams to ensure that the VS concessions business is prioritised and receiving the support required to ensure its success
  • Ensuring thatcommercial visual and operational opportunities across concessions are always maximised
  • Training best VS practices to build knowledge and confidence of Next store staff
  • Responsible for delivering the P&L plan and KPIs for the concessions format focussing on owning controllable costs and maximising sales and profitability
  • Use data and statistical analysis to challenge and influence NEXT and the Victorias Secret business to make strategic decisions to build the concessions business including but not limited to costs layout product marketing & visual presentations
  • Partner with the relevant NEXT Retail teams to ensure the day to day execution of brand andvisual merchandising standards across all concessions
  • Partner with the Victorias Secret Merchandising team to ensure that existing and future product assortments are maximised to ensure the success of sales and profitability targets in each format/concession
  • Support the Concessions & 3rd Party Area Manager with the concession refresh programme working with Victorias Secret Retail and Merchandisingteams to ensure a seamless execution of all changes whilst maximising commercial performanceand minimising disruption to employees customers and trade
  • Build a concessions environment that places customer experience at its core seeking new ways todevelop the format to create a better experience and connection with the Victorias Secretcustomer
  • Take proactive actions to minimise the risks and loss to theconcessions P&L performance e.g. loss prevention
  • Build knowledge of current retail industry trends sharing competitive insights to help build theVictorias Secret concessions strategy

Skills and Experience

  • Experience in a fast paced retail environment at Management level with arecord of maximising sales and profit
  • Experience with retail operations visual merchandising budgeting planning and sales
  • Accountability for managing company projects ensuring the end result achieves a positive outcome
  • Creative with an ability to think differently to come up with and implement new business solutions andideas
  • Ability to analyse data and present back to senior leadership teams
  • Strong interpersonal skills that can be used to lead teams and build and develop valued relationshipsacross the business
  • Ability to liaise with both junior and senior store and field leaders
  • Adaptable and flexible with the ability to deliver results personally and through others
  • Leadswith integrity honesty and an approach that is aligned to the company values
  • Embraces change and open to new ideas and ways of working
  • Resilient and resourceful with a creative nature when working on projects and designing incentives
