Position: Senior Mechanical Engineer We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Senior Mechanical Engineer to join our Mechanical Engineering team. This role involves managing large-scale projects leading multidisciplinary teams and delivering innovative solutions for HVAC plumbing and fire protection systems. Youll work on impactful projects mentor junior staff and contribute to the firms growth while upholding our commitment to excellence.
Key Responsibilities: - Manage large clients and projects maintaining direct communication and defining project scope.
- Oversee design analysis and construction documents for HVAC plumbing and fire protection systems.
- Perform technical quality and constructability reviews ensuring compliance with codes and industry standards.
- Mentor and supervise junior staff fostering professional growth and development.
- Conduct system evaluations field observations and documentation of building systems.
- Prepare and review specifications engineering calculations and written reports.
- Manage project budgets schedules and deliverables to meet client goals.
- Participate in marketing efforts and business development activities to grow client relationships.
- Handle contract administration tasks such as pre-bid and pre-construction meetings RFIs and change orders.
Job Requirements: - Bachelors degree in Mechanical Engineering from an ABET/EAC-accredited program.
- 18 years of experience in mechanical engineering with a proven track record in project leadership.
- Licensure as a Professional Engineer (PE) in the United States with active NCEES registration.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD Revit and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Strong technical knowledge of HVAC plumbing and fire protection systems.
- Ability to mentor communicate effectively and solve complex engineering problems.
- Pre-employment drug test background check and valid drivers license required.
