Job Summary

Location: Chicago IL (On-site & Remote)
Position: Cloud Architect Cybersecurity

We are seeking a Cloud Architect with a strong cybersecurity focus to design implement and manage secure cloud infrastructure solutions. The ideal candidate will have deep expertise in cloud platforms (AWS Azure or GCP) and a strong understanding of cloud security architecture compliance and risk management.

Key Responsibilities:

Design and implement secure cloud architectures aligned with business and regulatory requirements

Develop and enforce cloud security policies standards and best practices

Collaborate with DevOps engineering and security teams to ensure secure deployment pipelines

Lead threat modeling and security assessments for cloud infrastructure

Monitor and improve cloud security posture (e.g. IAM encryption network security logging)

Requirements:

5 years of experience in cloud architecture and cybersecurity

Hands-on expertise with AWS Azure or GCP security services

Strong knowledge of IAM encryption network security and cloud compliance frameworks (e.g. NIST ISO CIS)

Experience with tools like Terraform CloudFormation or similar IaC tools

Relevant certifications (e.g. AWS Certified Security Specialty CISSP CCSP) preferred
