Job Summary

QA Automation Engineer

Alameda CA 3 days onsite Need local.

6 Months contract

Position Summary:

We are looking for a skilled and proactive Tester to support our initiatives. This role is focused on enabling seamless digital experiences by analyzing business needs and coordinating with various stakeholders to deliver results.

Key Responsibilities:

Manage execution of project delivery in accordance with the organizations product management methodology
Work closely with Product Owner and IT Technical Teams to prioritize features and ensure alignment between business goals and implementation according to the Product Roadmap
Track and manage POD capacity and allocate work as needed to deliver per the timelines
Document detailed requirements in the form of user stories use cases and process diagrams.
Lead and coordinate Agile ceremonies including sprint planning grooming reviews and retrospectives.
Monitor progress and performance against the agreed upon goals and timelines
Identify and resolve operational problems and minimize delays
Manage ongoing relationships with cross-functional stakeholders

Required Qualifications:

Experience: 7 years in Java Selenium WebDriver and API testing
Experience with regulated environments and validated systems
Automation: Ability to develop automated test cases based on requirements existing manual test cases or feature acceptance criteria
Technical Skills: Strong understanding of object-oriented principles design patterns and data structures with a solid grasp of effective design methodologies
Tools: Selenium WebDriver Experience with CI/CD tools like Jenkins and build tools such as Maven
API Testing: Proficient in using Postman or similar tools for API testing
Execution: Capable of performing Automation and Manual test execution in multi-device and cross browser to deliver accurate and reliable results.
Process Knowledge: Good understanding of the Software Testing Life Cycle (STLC) and familiarity with Agile methodologies
Communication: Strong communication skills to effectively collaborate with stakeholders
