Role: UX Writer/Copywriter

Description

Design organization is hiring an experienced copywriter to create content for a variety of digital interfaces including apps desktop software device control panel displays and web pages/portals.

The candidate selected for this role will have a Bachelors degree in Technical Writing or related discipline mastery of written and spoken English and experience working with software design and engineering teams.

Responsibilities

Write and manage UI copy for printer applications CRM content web pages and portals and other customer-facing touchpoints
Focus on making complex and technical topics simple and approachable for all audiences
Write error-free content that clearly conveys the brand voice and tone and adheres to writing style guides
Collaborate with design marketing and development teams to produce and deliver a variety of digital messaging pieces
Interpret creative concepts and prototypes and rough direction into persuasive copy
Work on multiple projects simultaneously
Interview various stakeholders to distill business and strategic requirements into concise messaging

Education and Experience

Bachelors degree in Technical Communication or related discipline and 2-4 years of experience in a similar role.

Knowledge and Skills

Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Skilled in Microsoft Office Adobe Creative Suite and creative-collaboration tools
Experience working with software requirement and defect tracking tools
Ability to work from design marketing and business requirements to drive UI string development work keeping projects on track as priorities and schedule change
Strong written and verbal communication skills able to communicate to a variety of stakeholders clearly and professionally at all levels of the organization
