About the Role:
Global Language System (a division of Global Impact Group LLC) a certified SDVOSB and ISO 9001:2015 / ISO 17100:2015 language service provider is seeking experienced Onsite Interpreters to support hearings investigations mediations and other legal proceedings at the NLRB Regional Office located in Denver CO.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide accurate consecutive and/or simultaneous interpretation services between English and the target language.
- Interpret during legal proceedings interviews and staff meetings with high accuracy and neutrality.
- Maintain confidentiality impartiality and professionalism at all times.
- Adhere to interpreter code of ethics and NLRB procedural protocols.
Minimum Requirements:
- Proven experience in onsite interpretation preferably in legal or administrative settings.
- Proficiency in English and your target
- Familiarity with legal terminology and concepts.
- Ability to follow procedures and maintain decorum in formal settings.
- Must be punctual reliable and detail-oriented.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Certification from state or federal interpreting programs (if applicable).
- Membership in ATA NCIHC or equivalent.
- Experience working in government or union environments is a plus.
Compensation:
Hourly rate commensurate with experience. W-9 required for payment.
