Job Description

We are seeking an instructor dedicated to excellence in teaching who desires to make a difference in the lives of our students. The instructor will be assigned to teach in a traditional classroom and lab format.

Salary Range:

This is a part-time credit based position. Compensation offered is commensurate with experience and qualifications.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Diploma in Welding.

  • Four (4) full-time years (or equivalent) of verified related paid work experience in welding.

  • One year of work experience in welding shall be within the five years immediately preceding the date of the application. The recency requirement shall be waived if the individual has two (2) years of successful full-time (or equivalent) postsecondary teaching experience in the credential field within the last five years.

Preferred Qualification

  • Willingness to collaborate with community partners.

  • Bilingual/multilingual fluent in Spanish Karen Karenni Somali Pohnpeian French Nuer Anuak or other languages that reflect our student body workforce and communities.

  • Demonstrated experience working with multicultural and underserved populations.
