Role:

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Lead AV Installation Technician to join our team where you can make a meaningful impact. This role specializes in installing and maintaining audio/video distribution systems digital signage systems video walls and other communication hardware in commercial settings. It requires technical expertise and strong interpersonal skills with opportunities to participate in client events for additional income.

The position requires a full-time commitment during standard business hours from 8 AM to 5 PM Monday through Friday. However substantial project installations will require flexibility and availability to work on weekends evenings and overtime as dictated by the project demands. All AV Installation Technician roles require varying levels of travel.

Key Responsibilities:

Install and configure audio/video distribution systems digital signage and video walls while ensuring all equipment is properly maintained and serviced. Safely and securely mount displays on a variety of surfaces and manage HDMI distribution including HDBaseT setups and basic audio configurations. Work with network wiring components and terminations demonstrating a strong understanding of connectivity requirements. Collaborate closely with internal departments to support seamless operations and deliver high-quality installations. Additionally serve as an Event Day Operator for client events which may take place during weekdays evenings or weekends.

Qualifications:

• 3-5 years of experience in installing simple and complex AV systems.
• Knowledge of Crestron/AMX systems; CTS certification is a plus.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to lift 50 lbs or more.
• Proficiency with tools lifts and ladders.
• Self-starter mentality with a willingness to both teach and learn.
• Positive attitude and adaptability in fast-paced environments.
• Proficient in Google Suite
• Comfortable multi-tasking and prioritizing tasks without guidance
• Excellent interpersonal skills
• Punctual with a strong attendance history
• Clear effective communicator-verbally and in writing-with the ability to be persuasive
• Demonstrated ability to work productively with counterparts in a cross-functional capacity
• Ability to manage and prioritize a high volume of tasks efficiently
• Problem-solving mindset with strong attention to detail
• Positive team-oriented attitude

Were seeking a highly motivated and professional individual with a solid understanding of network wiring components and terminations. The ideal candidate will have a clean driving record and reliable transportation to the office; company vehicles are provided for customer site visits. This role requires someone who can confidently lead installations effectively train others and maintain a neat appearance and professional demeanor at all times. Outstanding written and verbal communication skills are a must along with a team-first mindset that supports overall success.
