Position: Building Envelope Consultant II (Design)
We are seeking a skilled Building Envelope Consultant II to join our Building Envelope this role you will provide expertise in building envelope systems including roofs walls and waterproofing. You will lead design efforts conduct assessments perform testing investigations and manage estimating and scheduling as part of a consulting team. This position offers an opportunity to collaborate with cross-functional teams oversee project deliverables and contribute to innovative solutions in the industry.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform building envelope design tasks including developing construction documents and specifications.
- Conduct site inspections visual surveys and testing investigations on roofs walls and waterproofing systems.
- Manage client interactions attend meetings and respond to RFIs.
- Create plans elevations and detail drawings using AutoCAD and Revit.
- Oversee project estimating and scheduling ensuring alignment with client objectives.
- Collaborate with other disciplines to deliver integrated project solutions.
- Support contract administration including bid meetings submittal reviews and change order processing.
- Stay updated on industry standards and best practices related to building envelope systems.
Job Requirements:
- Bachelors degree in Engineering Architecture or a construction-related field.
- EIT certification or Professional Engineering License preferred.
- Registered Architect certification preferred.
- 4 years of experience in building envelope consulting or related design work.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD Revit and Microsoft Office Suite.
- OSHA 10/30 certification (or willingness to obtain).
- Valid drivers license and ability to travel for site visits and client meetings.
- Strong problem-solving analytical and communication skills.
- Pre-employment drug test and background check required.
