Data Analyst
Job Summary
We are looking for a highly analytical and detail-oriented Data Analyst to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for transforming raw data into actionable insights that drive business decisions. You will use various tools and techniques to clean analyze and visualize complex datasets providing critical information to stakeholders across the organization.
Key Responsibilities
Data Acquisition & Preparation: Query extract and clean data from various sources (e.g. SQL databases APIs spreadsheets) to ensure accuracy and consistency.
Data Analysis: Conduct descriptive diagnostic and predictive analysis to identify trends patterns and anomalies in key business metrics.
Reporting & Visualization: Design develop and maintain interactive dashboards and reports using tools like Tableau or Power BI to clearly communicate complex findings to both technical and non-technical audiences.
Insight Generation: Translate analysis findings into clear concise and actionable recommendations for leadership and cross-functional teams (e.g. Marketing Operations Finance).
Stakeholder Collaboration: Partner with department leads to define Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and business requirements for new reports and analytical projects.
Process Improvement: Identify and recommend opportunities for process optimization and data governance improvements to enhance data quality and reporting efficiency.
Required Qualifications
Education: Bachelors degree in a quantitative field such as Statistics Mathematics Computer Science Economics or a related discipline.
Experience: X years of experience working as a Data Analyst or in a relevant analytical role.
Technical Proficiency (Must-Have):
SQL: Expert-level proficiency in writing complex queries to extract and manipulate data.
Data Visualization: Hands-on experience with at least one major BI tool (e.g. Tableau Power BI Google Looker Studio).
Spreadsheets: Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel (e.g. Pivot Tables VLOOKUPs advanced formulas).
Analytical Skills: Proven ability to work with large unstructured datasets apply statistical methods and solve complex business problems.
Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication skills with a talent for data storytelling and presenting insights clearly.
