We are seeking aVisual Retail Key Holderto join our team. The Key Holder willbe responsible formanaging the store during scheduled shiftsopeningand closing the store handlingcashand credit card transactions managing inventory and providing excellent customer service to our valued addition this role plays a key part inmaintainingvisual merchandising standards to ensure the store environment reflects Backcountrys brand and creates an engaging shopping experience.
This role is challenging above and beyondthe day-to-dayresponsibilitiesyoullhavea big rolewithin a fast-paced team.
This position willreporttotheRetail Store Manager.

What you get to do every day:

    • Assist the Store Manager in opening and closing the store
    • Ensure the store is properly secured and alarm systems are functioning correctly
    • Manage cash and credit card transactions and perform daily cash reconciliations
    • Maintain accurate inventory levels conduct regular inventory audits and report any discrepancies to the Store Manager
    • Provide exceptional customer service and assist customers with their purchases product inquiries and returns/exchanges
    • Maintain a clean organized and attractive store appearance
    • Support visual merchandising standards by assisting with floor moves display updates and ensuring product presentation aligns with brand direction
    • Assist in the execution of and ensure daily tasks are completed
    • Train and mentor new team members
    • Perform other duties as assigned by the Store Manager and Assistant Store Manager

What you bring to the role:

    • High school diploma or equivalent
    • Minimum of 2 years of experience in retail sales or customer service
    • Previous visual merchandising experience or strong eye for presentation is a plus
    • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
    • Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively
    • Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment
    • Must be able to work a flexible schedule including evenings weekends and holidays
    • Basic computer skills and experience with Point-of-Sale systems is a plus
$20 - $21 an hour
