Job Summary

ROLE SUMMARY

The Immunoglobulin (Ig) business plays a critical role in improving the lives of patients with primary and secondary immunodeficiencies neurological disorders and other rare diseases. With a focus on specialty care and infusion pharmacy the Ig portfolio delivers life-saving therapies that require strategic oversight and innovation.

The Ig portfolio marketing lead will report to the VP Ig Business Lead and play a critical role in leading the US Ig marketing team with brand responsibilities for Panyzga Cutaqug and Octagam. The role reports directly to the VP Immunoglobulin (Ig) Business Lead and is based at NYHQ.

ROLE RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Lead the Ig marketing team
  • Own all aspects of the Ig portfolio brands (Panyzga Octagam and Cutaquig) to develop brand strategies and execution plans to drive performance of the Ig portfolio
  • Uncover and translate relevant customer insights into commercial plans and execution of key initiatives
  • Strategic marketing and tactical prioritization across customers and stakeholders for the Ig portfolio: Panyzga Octagam and Cutaquig
  • Sign off on all promotional materials marketing messaging and training materials for Ig portfolio brands
  • Ensure successful roll-out of omnichannel marketing campaigns and other commercial initiatives in line with approved plans and budgets
  • Partner with account management and sales to lead the strategy execution messaging and positioning of the Ig portfolio
  • Work in close collaboration with finance and business analytics and insights to develop brand revenue forecasts and drive brand performance
  • Understand patient journeys and develop patient funnels to estimate patient impact and financial performance
  • Ensure robust financial forecasting reflects prevailing market dynamics and portfolio financial characteristics (supply availability margins etc)
  • Achieve revenue OPEX and IBT commitments across brands in the portfolio while making strategic operating expense allocation decisions to appropriately resource brands within budget constraints
  • Oversee portfolio promotional budget. Prioritize and differentially allocate resources across the portfolio to maximized patient and commercial impact
  • Manage expenses and investments according to plan goals.
  • Propose obtain agreement to and support the development and implementation of strategic and operating plans for the Ig portfolio including LRF planning of revenues and OpEx
  • Represent Ig portfolio priorities in response to payer RFPs and in executing contracting strategies
  • Partner with strategy analytics sales and account management to understand performance trends and portfolio opportunities
  • Lead the Ig portfolio marketing team consisting of 3 direct reports and ensure continuous development of people
  • Lead with an inspiring vision and cultivate an empowering team culture

  • Ensure a collaborative working environment with partner functions including but not limited to medical sales finance corporate communications regulatory legal and manufacturing

Qualifications

  • Bachelors degree required; MBA preferred
  • 12 years of commercial marketing experience including US market experience
  • Previous experience leading brands with deep knowledge of marketing discipline and track record of launching and building successful brands in the US market
  • Ig experience preferred
  • Brand launch marketing expertise across HCP payer and patient marketing with experience applying traditional and innovative levers to grow customer and patient awareness education and preference in competitive categories
  • Ideally previous track-record of successfully managing a P&L
  • Financial acumen with the ability to sharply manage expenses conduct ROI analyses and make financial trade-offs
  • Strong ability to prioritize and empower team member decision-making to effectively execute business plans and manage product performance
  • Strong business acumen with excellent verbal and written communication skills for a wide variety of audiences including senior management
  • Strategic cross functional leadership experience
  • Self-motivated and a team player
  • Candidate demonstrates a breadth of diverse leadership experiences and capabilities including: the ability to influence and collaborate with peers develop and coach others oversee and guide the work of other colleagues to achieve meaningful outcomes and create business impact

The annual base salary for this position ranges from $204700.00 to $341100.00.* In addition this position is eligible for participation in Pfizers Global Performance Plan with a bonus target of 22.5% of the base salary and eligibility to participate in our share based long term incentive program. * The annual base salary for this position in Tampa FL ranges from $184200.00 to $307000.00.
