Product Design and Platforms
Brief Overview:
The Product Design and Platforms (PDP) unit under Operations and Technology group is dedicated to designing SGX products with a primary focus on externally facing solutions such as trading and clearing platforms. Our goal is to ensure these products not only meet but exceed our customers expectations.
There are 2 sub-units under PDP:
- Business Analysis plays a crucial role in managing and shaping end-to-end requirements and solutions for SGX initiatives. This involves liaising with stakeholders across multiple domains and units to ensure seamless integration and execution of projects.
- Functional Test Management emphasize on rigorous functional testing of both in-house developed and vendor-delivered platforms with a focus on ensuring quality assurance (QA) before implementation to prevent any disruptions.
Learning Objectives:
During the internship intern will have the opportunity to develop both hard and soft skills that are essential for their professional growth.
Hard Skills:Intern will gain domain knowledge on Securities and Derivatives Products as well as Trading Clearing and Settlement processes. They will learn about project life cycle processes and get hands-on experience in executing a project from analysis and design to implementation.
Soft Skills:Enhance collaboration and communication skills thru interactions with stakeholders from different domains fostering their ability to work effectively in diverse teams..
Job Description:
- Comprehend business goals and products along with the supporting end-to-end IT solutions to drive requirements analysis and platform design including trading clearing post-trade and related functions ensuring alignment with business objectives.
- Evaluate and challenge proposed solutions by identifying underlying requirements and defining optimal solutions.
- Assist in the revamp of the team reporting dashboard and documentation process.
Knowledge and Skills requirements:
Knowledge:
- Basic understanding of Securities and Derivatives products (Must Have)
