JOB Commissioning Engineer
LOCATION Manchester
TERM- Permanent
SALARYper annum but dependent on experience
My client is an engineering company that designs and installs products for customers nationwide. They are looking for a Commissioning Engineer to join their team in Manchester on a permanent basis.
The Commissioning Engineer will ideally have the following attributes:
- Experienced Commissioning Engineer
- Experience with electrical testing
- A background in BMS would be beneficial
- Knowledge or experience around transformers
Experience with Testing
- Knowledge of related disciplines such as Electrical Engineering electrical transmission and distribution.
- Practical understanding of AC theory.
- NVQ / HNC / HND / BTEC / Degree qualified or similar in Electrical Engineering and/or 18th Edition Wiring Regulations
- Ideally have some understanding of Tridium and Priva software
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
The Project Commissioning Engineer role will involve:
- Testing and commissioning BMS projects
- Working with high voltage
- Designing BMS systems and AutoCAD BMS control panels
- Managing contracts client relationships and negotiating with subcontractors
- Testing a variety of Electrical equipment
- Understanding technical requirements to plan projects
- Occasional travel to sites
