Work Arrangement: Hybrid (On-site with remote flexibility on Fridays)
About the Role
Our client is an early-stage AI company with $6 million in seed funding building the future of customer research. Their platform uses AI agents to create studies conduct interviews and extract meaningful insights enabling teams to understand their customers faster than traditional methods. The founding team consists of product and technical leaders from Reddit Twitter and Nextdoor emphasizing a strong product-first philosophy.
They are seeking a Founding Software Engineer to take on significant product ownership. This is a high-agency full-stack role where youll contribute to product definition engineering and company culture from the ground up.
What Youll Do
- Work across the entire stack including frontend backend and AI.
- Deliver a customer-first product with a strong product and design mindset constantly iterating based on user insights.
- Engage in core full-stack tasks: web development API creation database migrations and contributing to infrastructure using Terraform.
- Utilize and adapt quickly to modern AI tools (e.g. Claude Code Cursor) and perform prompt engineering for AI models.
- Take on significant product ownership and help define the teams culture as an early member.
Requirements
- 0 years of experience in full-stack product or frontend engineering. This role is open to candidates at various stages with a strong emphasis on a product and execution mindset.
- Passionate about building great products and comfortable with the ambiguity of a small fast-moving team.
Benefits
- Salary: $125K - $200K
- Equity: 0.2% - 1.0%
