Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled and motivated SAP Technical Consultant with 46 years of experience in SAP development. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in SAP ABAP and a good understanding of integration technologies. This is a full-time remote position offering opportunities to work on challenging SAP projects and collaborate with cross-functional teams.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop test and maintain SAP ABAP programs including reports interfaces enhancements forms and conversions.
Collaborate with functional consultants to understand business requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
Support SAP system upgrades patches and performance tuning.
Participate in code reviews and ensure adherence to best practices and coding standards.
Work on integration scenarios involving IDocs BAPIs RFCs and Web Services.
Provide technical support and troubleshoot issues in SAP systems.
Document technical specifications and user manuals.
Required Skills & Experience:
68 years of hands-on experience in SAP ABAP development.
Strong knowledge of ABAP Workbench Reports SmartForms Adobe Forms BDC BAPI and User Exits.
Experience with Object-Oriented ABAP and performance tuning techniques.
Basic understanding of integration technologies such as IDocs BAPIs Web Services or SAP PI/PO/CPI.
Good problem-solving and debugging skills.
Strong communication and collaboration abilities.
Preferred Qualifications:
SAP ABAP certification.
Experience working in Agile or hybrid project environments.
Exposure to cross-module integration and global SAP implementations.
Education:
Bachelors or Masters degree in Computer Science Information Technology or a related field.
